The Aquatic Games is an Olympic-style youth tournament created by 5-Time Olympian & Silver Medalist Tony Azevedo.

The event brings together teams from across the globe and is designed to inspire the next generation of great water polo players and swimmers. The Games offer ample opportunity for elite top-level play, but go a step beyond other youth tournaments by providing a fun, festive atmosphere complete with an Opening Ceremonies, two 2-hour elite clinics and a 4-hour educational series.

The age categories for water polo are 13U boys, 13U girls and 11U boys, girls & co-ed. Swim categories will be announced soon.

The 2018 Games will be held in at Long Beach State University (CSULB). The City of Long Beach is regarded as the “Aquatics Capital of the USA” and has produced more Olympians than any other in the nation. CSULB is one of the top schools in the state and has a strong aquatics program. Participants have the option to stay overnight at the CSULB dorms as well as tour the campus.

We expect to have hundreds of participants this year, including over 25 youth water polo teams. Because we understand it can be hard for entire teams to commit to the event, we offer a unique way for individuals or small groups to participate on ALL STAR teams. Family members and coaches are welcome to join in the fun as well.

The Games are positioned to become the most widely recognized and premier aquatic event in the world. Eventually they may include a wide range of aquatic sports including synchronized swimming, diving and even kite surfing. Come join us for a truly unique few days of top-level water polo, swimming and family fun!
