Event will begin around 5pm on Friday at Long Beach State University in Long Beach.

  • Arrival at CSULB

  • Check in and gift bags

  • One hour clinic with Tony & team

  • Completion of the 6-8 Challenge

Athletes will be divided into teams based on their 6-8 Challenge results.

Check-in at CSULB dorms (for overnight athletes)

Opening Ceremonies:

  • teams are announced

  • athletes meet their coaches

  • mingling with the Aquatic Games staff, coaches & guest Olympians

  • live music

Saturday, JUNE 22

  • 45 minute morning practice sessions for all teams (with their coaches)

  • Each team plays a minimum of two games

  • Movie night: group viewing of the USA Olympic Gold medal game or inspirational video 

sunday, June 23

  • Each team plays a minimum of two games

  • 10 min private review session for each athlete with their coach: feedback, inspirational words and an opportunity for any questions

  • After the Final Games, the 6-8 Staff will elect an All Star Team based our 6-8 point system and character analysis: these  players will play a beach polo type 4 on 4 two-half All Star game coached by Tony Azevedo and another guest coach

Closing Ceremonies:

  • winning teams, runners up and MVPs announced 

  • all athletes will receive a medal (gold/silver/bronze) 

  • All Star team athletes will receive a special prize
